Land Rover, I am disappointed. This was an awesome commercial, up until you went off the road at the end. Hear me out.

I am an environmentalist in my own right, in that I love the outdoors. Spending my entire life in Colorado, and over half of that driving trails and forest service roads in the Rockies, I know how hard it has been to keep the trails open. I know the importance of staying on the trail, especially once you get above tree line. I know it is imperative to enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

Blazing a new trail in a manner that results in permanent damage is not cool or edgy. It does not exude class.

Dear land rover... Tread Lightly.

"This video does not exist."

Is this that Pikes Peak commercial where you hear it's amazing engine note? And then the team walks up to it from behind and the driver speeds away off-road?

If so, then anyone who has one is A) never going to go to a road like Pikes Peak and B) never going off-road.

Agree. Myself and a friend did an experiment on his land. We went off the road and made a short semi circle. Just one vehicle track. In 3 months it had become a 2 track with no vegetation. Stay on the Forest Service designated roads/trails.

That commercial upsets me too. Land Rover has said........."The vehicle did not actually drive off-road on Pike's Peak for the filming of the ad, so there was no harm done to the environment." From here: http://www.roughcountry.com/news/category/…

I don't know, but it sure looks like it to me.
